Molly’s Wagon
Formerly the lodgings of a circus showman in the 1950s, today Molly’s Wagon is happily nestled on the edge of the arboretum at Treberfydd House, and the perfect rural retreat.
Inside, there’s a super-king-sized bed and a woodburning stove, with uninterrupted views across a hay meadow to the Black Mountains.
Outside, there’s a kitchen/sitting area under a canopy suspended from a circle of trees. The kitchen has a double gas ring burner, a fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster, Belfast sink and a table and chairs. Beyond that is a hut with a hot shower (with a view) and a compost loo (a posh one). Fluffy robes and towels and Welsh Lavender body wash are provided.
Sit in the morning sun with a coffee on the wagon steps, snooze in the hammock, or star-gaze by the fire pit (we’re in a dark sky reserve). We’re sure that you won’t want to leave!
Minimum two-night booking.

“Molly's Wagon was everything we wanted from our weekend away and exceeded our expectations. Peaceful, private and immersed in nature, with the most glorious views to be enjoyed from every window and nook of the wagon. We loved the emphasis on quality and comfort - the bed was so luxurious and comfy, which made for the best night’s sleep! And the stylish way in which the interior and exterior spaces have been curated satiated my aesthete’s eye and heart. Such a fabulous getaway we almost want to keep it to ourselves, but it’s too good not to share!” — Nicola and Glen, July 2022
“Molly's Wagon was such a special way to experience Treberfydd and its grounds. It was a real treat to wake up and enjoy a coffee on the front steps, looking out on unimpeded countryside.
